Former WWE world heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is the favourite to walk out of Wrestlemania 33 with the WWE Universal Championship on April 9, according to the latest odds.
Goldberg, 50, enters the annual blockbuster as the current universal champion, but the odds seem stacked agains the 50-year-old to retain his belt at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
However, the title match will no longer main event Wrestlemania 33 as was previously expected, with Roman Reigns’ clash against The Undertaker now understood to be taking the spotlight.
While Lesnar is the favourite to be the new universal champion, Braun Strowman is a heavy frontrunner to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a commemorative match to be held in honour of the late wrestling icon.
Lesnar and Goldberg, two of the WWE’s oldest current veterans, have clashed repeatedly in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania, with two of wrestling entertainment’s most seasoned figures ready to collide.
