The WWE’s transfer window opened up in typical dramatic fashion with many surprise deals throughout the show. First, Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose announced the arrival of new signing The Miz, followed by the biggest shock yet – Bray Wyatt calling RAW his ‘new home’ and challenging WWE Champion Randy Orton to a ‘House of Horrors’ match at WWE Payback. According to his contract, Wyatt is owed a rematch after losing his title at WrestleMania 33. The Women’s Division got a little competitive with former SmackDown champion Alexa Bliss joining Raw along with Mickie James. Other superstars joining Raw include Kalisto, Apollo Crews, Heath Slater and Rhyno.
It’s anyone’s guess what the WWE has in store this year, although bookies are already offering odds on who will win the Royal Rumble 2018. The odds of Roman Reigns taking the honours are 2/1, with Finn Balor at 4/1 and Seth Rollins at 6/1. John Cena’s odds are currently 8/1, while reigning champion Randy Orton has a 16/1 shot of reclaiming the title.
