Rafael Nadal received his 10th title at the Barcelona Open after becoming the first male to win the same event 10 times at the Monte Carlo Masters just a week ago. And it seemed that repeating the feat was a breeze in Barcelona, easily winning 6-4, 6-1 against Dominic Thiem. Nadal has definitely been on a roll, with even the cold weather unable to damper his fighting spirit on the court. “To win in Barcelona and Monte Carlo gives me a dream start to the clay season,” says the tennis superstar. He continues, “I’m especially happy for these 10 victories in two tournaments that are as special to me as Monte Carlo and Barcelona, especially here as it’s my club, and for the support of these incredible fans.”
