Saracens have been heavily tipped to become just the second team ever to win three successive English Premiership titles later this year after the final weekend of the regular season confirmed this year’s play-off schedule.
Wasps hammered European Rugby Champions Cup finalists Saracens 35-15 on Saturday to confirm their place as regular season table toppers and cement a home semi-final against fourth-placed finishers Leicester, who edged Worcester Warriors 28-23 on the final day.
Saracens’ finish means they’ll travel to Sandy Park to take on Exeter in their play-off decider, but the Chiefs won’t be any pushovers after they finished level on points with Wasps at the summit, albeit settling for second place based on matches won.
Away semi-final or not, however, Sarries remain the top pick at 7/5 (2.40) to take home a third consecutive Premiership title this season, while 10-time champions Leicester are priced as a massive 14/1 (15.00) to claim their first crown in four years.
