World No. 1 Andy Murray will line up at the 2017 AEGON Championships in June after announcing he’ll be a part of the star-studded field set to take to Queen’s Club next month.
The Scot has won the Wimbledon warm-up event a record five times in his career thus far and will be looking to increase his lead as the competition’s most prolific player when he makes his return this year.
Last year’s runner-up, Milos Raonic, will also feature in the 2017 tournament after coming within sight of a maiden title last year, while past champions Rafael Nadal and Marin Cilic will also be on display.
Tomas Berdych, Juan Martin Del Potro, Stanislas Wawrinka and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga have also confirmed they’ll be in attendance at Queen’s Club in 2017.
Speaking on this year’s selection of men’s singles stars, tournament director Stephen Farrow said: “The player entry list for the Aegon Championships is strong every year and we already knew we were in for a great line-up, but with Cilic and Goffin adding their names to make it six of the world’s top 10, this is going to be the best yet.”
