Tottenham Hotspur remain among the outsiders to win this season’s Premier League title as the club is still yet to make a signing during the summer transfer window.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has thus far failed to bring any new faces in after finishing as runners-up to champions Chelsea last term, while the rest of the Premier League big guns have been splashing the cash—and then some.
Bet365 have listed the north Londoners as a 12/1 (13.00) medium shot to grasp the English top-flight crown in 2017-18, and Pochettino has suggested transfer activity will pick up in the coming weeks.
Appearing on BBC Radio 5 live Sport, he said: “It’s not easy to find the right profile but I’m sure we’ll add some players in the next few weeks.”
Tottenham are under some pressure to buy, too, aftetr left-back Danny Rose hinted at a potential exit from the club and declared he’d “love to see two or three well-known players” arrive.
Spurs are likely to have last season’s momentum disrupted by this season’s temporary move to Wembley Stadium after leaving White Hart Lane in the summer due to construction taking place on their new home.
