Seventy seven days and four Premier League matches were all it took for Frank de Boer to be announced as the Premier League’s first managerial casualty of the season, and the bookmakers suggest Slaven Bilic may not be far behind.
The West Ham United chief is also yet to take a point from three Premier League outings this term and is sat at the bottom of the table, leading Sky Bet to list him as a 5/6 (1.83) favourite to be handed his marching orders next.
Bilic was priced at a slightly higher price of evens (2.00) earlier on Monday, but news of De Boer’s dismissal appears to have resulted in a swathe of punters backing Bilic to go next.
The Hammers host Huddersfield Town at the London Stadium on Monday evening, and Bilic could be in jeopardy unless his side take their first win of the new term.
Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is the next most favoured manager to leave his post next and is listed as a 5/1 (6.00) shot to do so, while Burnley helmsman Sean Dyche follows at 10/1 (11.00).
