The National Football League stood almost entirely in unison on Sunday as players from just about every team took the opportunity to kneel during the national anthem in response to recent comments from Donald Trump.
Stars echoed the actions of unemployed quarter-back Colin Kaepernick and knelt to portray their stance against racial injustice in the country after the President of the United States said those who fail to stand for the anthem should be fired or suspended.
Paddy Power is now offering a host of NFL-related Trump specials inspired by Sunday’s events, all of which relate to the relationship between the president and the players souring.
At short odds, a price of 2/5 (1.40) is available for there to be at least one player from each team kneel during the Super Bowl’s national anthem, while Trump is 4/1 (5.00) just to attend the match.
The prices pick up from there, though, and Trump is at 8/1 (9.00) to attend any regular season game this term.
While unlikely, Paddy Power also offer odds of 33/1 (34.00) for a player to be fired directly as a result of kneeling during the anthem, and a massive 100/1 (101.00) is available for the anthem not to be played at the next Super Bowl at all.
