AS Monaco appear set to lose the services of star striker Kylian Mbappe after Stevan Jovetic, the man speculated to be his replacement at the Stade Louis II, was pictured wearing the youngster’s shirt number.
Get French Football News posted leaked images of Jovetic, who will move to the French Riviera from Inter Milan, wearing Monaco’s new kit with No. 10 emblazoned on the back—Mbappe’s number until this point.
Mbappe was priced at 1/10 (1.10) to join Paris Saint-Germain over the weekend, but the betting market has since been removed, all but confirming the capital club has a deal in place to sign the starlet.
However, PSG may not sign Mbappe permanently this summer after it was suggested Unai Emery’s side could complete a season-long loan for the player this year only to seal a permanent transfer next summer.
While the full details haven’t been disclosed, it’s been discussed that this would be in order to fall in compliance with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
